Job Description

The Events Manager plans, coordinates and delivers meetings, conferences, weddings and other functions, from initial enquiry through execution and post-event follow-up. Candidates typically need a degree or diploma in hospitality, business or a related field, together with several years of experience in hotel events, catering or conference operations. Strong communication, negotiation, budgeting and organizational skills are essential. The role requires close cooperation with sales, banquet, kitchen, front office and external suppliers. The successful candidate is expected to be guest-focused, commercially aware, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple events under pressure. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays, professional presentation, sound knowledge of event systems and strong English communication are also commonly expected.
