Job Description

The Laundry Manager oversees the hotel laundry operation, including linen, uniforms, guest clothing, equipment, supplies, quality control and staff scheduling. Candidates typically need several years of laundry or housekeeping experience in a hotel or resort, with supervisory or management experience preferred. Knowledge of commercial laundry equipment, chemical handling, inventory control, hygiene standards and workplace safety is expected. The successful candidate should be organized, hands-on and service-focused, able to manage high volumes while maintaining consistent quality and controlling costs. Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills are important, as is the ability to coordinate effectively with Housekeeping, Food and Beverage and other hotel departments.
