Junior Sous Chef (Pastry)

Job Description

The Junior Sous Chef (Pastry) supports the Pastry Chef in managing daily pastry production, including breads, cakes, desserts, chocolates and plated items. Candidates are generally expected to have professional pastry experience in a luxury hotel, resort or high-volume kitchen, along with formal culinary training or an equivalent qualification. Strong knowledge of baking techniques, food safety, hygiene standards and kitchen cost control is important. The role requires creativity, consistency, attention to detail and the ability to supervise and train junior team members.
