Destination Guide

The Philippines offers varied opportunities for hospitality professionals across Manila, Cebu, Boracay, Palawan, Clark and other resort destinations. Luxury hotels, beach resorts, restaurants, cruise operations and event venues regularly recruit experienced chefs, especially those with international pastry and bakery expertise. Filipino culture is warm, family-oriented and welcoming, with English widely used in workplaces. Lifestyle options range from busy city living to relaxed coastal communities, although traffic, tropical heat and seasonal weather can be considerations. Foreign employees normally need an employer-sponsored work permit and appropriate visa, with requirements handled through the company and Philippine authorities; working before approval is not permitted.
