Public Area Attendant

Job Description

The Public Area Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene and presentation in hotel public spaces such as lobbies, corridors, elevators, restrooms and recreational areas. Requirements typically include previous cleaning or hospitality experience, basic communication skills, good physical stamina and the ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays. The successful candidate should be detail-oriented, reliable, well-groomed and comfortable working independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities may include vacuuming, mopping, dusting, replenishing supplies, reporting maintenance issues and following Shangri-La’s service, safety and sanitation standards.
