Job Description

The Public Area Attendant keeps hotel spaces such as lobbies, corridors, elevators, washrooms and guest facilities clean, safe and presentable. The role generally requires basic education, previous housekeeping or cleaning experience, physical stamina and the ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays. Candidates should be reliable, attentive to detail, well-groomed and comfortable following hygiene, safety and chemical-handling procedures. Good teamwork, a courteous attitude and the ability to respond promptly to guest or supervisor requests are important. Familiarity with hotel standards is useful, while training may be provided for suitable applicants.
