Job Description

The Floor Supervisor is responsible for overseeing guest-room and corridor cleanliness, coordinating room attendants, inspecting completed rooms, reporting maintenance issues, and ensuring Shangri-La’s service and hygiene standards are consistently met. Candidates typically need hotel housekeeping experience, supervisory ability, strong attention to detail, and good communication skills. Familiarity with housekeeping procedures, room-status systems, workplace safety, and quality inspections is expected. The successful candidate should be organised, physically fit, dependable, guest-focused, and comfortable working shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Cantonese and English communication skills are advantageous in Hong Kong, while Mandarin may also be useful.
