Job Description

The Commis 3 (Bakery) supports the pastry and bakery team by preparing ingredients, mixing doughs and batters, baking breads and pastries, maintaining food presentation standards, and keeping work areas clean and organized. Candidates should have basic knowledge of bakery techniques, food safety, hygiene, and kitchen equipment. A culinary certificate, bakery training, or relevant experience is advantageous, although entry-level applicants may be considered. The successful candidate is expected to follow recipes accurately, work efficiently under pressure, maintain consistent quality, assist senior chefs, and comply with Shangri-La’s service and safety standards. Flexibility for shifts, weekends, and holidays is normally required.
