Senior Security Officer

Job Description

The Senior Security Officer is responsible for protecting guests, colleagues, property and hotel assets at Shangri-La in Hong Kong. Typical requirements include relevant hotel, security, law-enforcement or military experience; good knowledge of emergency procedures, access control, incident reporting and fire safety; and strong communication skills in English and preferably Cantonese or Mandarin. The candidate is expected to supervise daily security operations, patrol the premises, monitor CCTV and alarms, respond calmly to emergencies, investigate incidents, support loss prevention and maintain accurate records. A professional appearance, sound judgment, physical fitness, confidentiality, customer-service awareness and the ability to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays are essential.
