Job Description

The 3rd Dim Sum Chef supports the preparation and production of Cantonese dim sum in a hotel kitchen. Candidates are expected to have professional culinary experience, preferably in dim sum or Chinese cuisine, with knowledge of dough preparation, fillings, steaming, frying, presentation and food-safety standards. The role requires good knife skills, consistency, cleanliness, speed and the ability to follow recipes and portion controls. A culinary certificate or relevant vocational training is advantageous. Shangri-La expects candidates to work well within a multicultural brigade, maintain high quality during busy service periods, follow kitchen procedures and support senior chefs with preparation, training and daily operations.
