Job Description

The Security Officer/Senior Security Officer is responsible for protecting guests, employees, property and hotel assets at Shangri-La in Hong Kong. Duties typically include patrolling the hotel, monitoring CCTV and access points, responding to incidents, preparing reports, supporting emergency procedures and assisting guests when required. Candidates should have relevant hotel, commercial or security experience, good physical fitness, strong observation skills and knowledge of basic fire, safety and emergency procedures. Senior applicants are expected to guide junior officers and coordinate effectively with hotel departments. A professional appearance, integrity, calm judgment, customer-service attitude and clear Cantonese, Mandarin or English communication skills are important. Shift work, weekends and public holidays are normally required.
