Job Description

The Sites First Line Manager is responsible for leading day-to-day operations at a DHL site, supervising employees, maintaining service quality, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Typical requirements include experience in logistics, warehousing, transport, manufacturing, or another operational environment; previous team-lead or supervisory experience; good communication and organisational skills; and confidence using operational systems and performance data. The successful candidate is expected to motivate colleagues, manage workloads and staffing, monitor key performance indicators, resolve operational issues, support customer requirements, and promote DHL’s health, safety, quality, and compliance standards. Flexibility, a practical approach, and the ability to work shifts may also be required.
