Job Description

DHL is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver to work a days-based schedule of four shifts on and three days off. The role involves safely operating articulated vehicles, completing scheduled deliveries and collections, carrying out vehicle checks, securing loads, completing delivery paperwork, and providing professional customer service. Candidates are expected to hold a valid UK Category C+E licence, Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC), and an electronic tachograph card. Previous commercial driving experience is preferred, along with a good knowledge of UK roads, strong safety awareness, reliability, and a flexible, professional approach. Applicants must be physically capable of handling routine loading and unloading duties and comply with drivers’ hours, transport regulations, and DHL operating procedures.
