Destination Guide

The Philippines offers strong opportunities in business process services, IT, software development, cybersecurity, finance, healthcare, engineering, tourism, and shared services. Metro Manila, Cebu, and Davao are major employment centers, while Iloilo and Clark are growing technology and operations hubs. Filipino culture is generally warm, family-oriented, English-friendly, and relationship-driven, with festivals, varied regional cuisines, and strong community life. Lifestyle ranges from busy city living to more affordable coastal or provincial communities, although traffic, humidity, and typhoons can affect daily routines. Foreign nationals normally need an appropriate work visa or permit, usually supported by an employer; requirements depend on nationality and role. Relocating workers should budget for housing, healthcare, transport, and document processing, and confirm visa sponsorship, office location, working hours, and benefits directly with Accenture before accepting an offer.
