Research Associate (Battery Energy Storage Systems)

Job Description

The Research Associate will support research and development in battery energy storage systems, likely covering battery testing, performance analysis, modelling, data interpretation, and preparation of technical reports or publications. Candidates are generally expected to hold a degree, preferably a master's qualification, in electrical engineering, chemical engineering, materials science, energy engineering, or a related discipline. Relevant experience with lithium-ion batteries, battery management systems, electrochemical testing, energy-storage technologies, simulation tools, or laboratory instrumentation is advantageous. The role requires strong analytical, communication, documentation, and teamwork skills, along with the ability to work safely and independently in a multidisciplinary research environment.
