Research Associate (Computational Fluid Dynamics)

Job Description

The Research Associate will conduct computational fluid dynamics (CFD) research, develop and validate numerical models, analyse simulation results, and support publications, reports, and research proposals. Candidates typically need a PhD or master's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, chemical engineering, applied mathematics, or a related discipline, with strong knowledge of CFD, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and numerical methods. Experience with software such as ANSYS Fluent, OpenFOAM, COMSOL, or similar tools, together with programming skills in Python, MATLAB, or C++, is advantageous. The role expects independent research, careful technical documentation, teamwork with academic and industry partners, and the ability to meet project milestones.
