Senior Assistant Manager, Employee Relations

Job Description

The Senior Assistant Manager, Employee Relations is expected to support and manage employee-relations matters across the university, including workplace grievances, disciplinary cases, investigations, policy interpretation and conflict resolution. Candidates will typically need a degree in human resources, business, law or a related discipline, along with substantial experience in employee relations or HR advisory work. Strong knowledge of Singapore employment legislation, HR policies and case management is important. The role requires sound judgment, confidentiality, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to work effectively with employees, managers and senior stakeholders. The successful candidate should be fair, composed, analytical and capable of handling sensitive matters professionally while contributing to a positive and compliant workplace culture.
