Job Description

UGL is seeking a Senior HSE Advisor for a major battery energy storage system project near Chinchilla, Queensland, working on a DIDO/FIFO roster. The role is expected to provide visible safety leadership across construction activities, implement and monitor the project HSE management plan, conduct inspections and audits, investigate incidents, manage risk assessments, support environmental compliance, and coach workers and subcontractors. Candidates will generally need substantial HSE experience in major construction, infrastructure, energy, or resources projects; relevant tertiary qualifications; strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation; and practical experience with incident reporting, risk management, audits, and safety systems. A construction industry White Card, current driver’s licence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work remotely on a roster are likely required.
