Job Description

UGL Mechanical Fitters install, maintain, repair and overhaul mechanical equipment, machinery and plant in industrial, mining, energy, transport or infrastructure environments. Applicants generally need a recognised mechanical trade qualification, relevant fitting experience, strong fault-finding ability and a sound understanding of drawings, manuals, isolation procedures and workplace safety. Tickets such as confined space, working at heights, rigging, dogging or high-risk licences may be advantageous. The role requires physical fitness, reliable attendance, teamwork and a willingness to work shifts, overtime, shutdowns or remote and FIFO rosters where applicable. Candidates are expected to work safely, maintain quality standards, communicate clearly and complete maintenance records accurately.
