Fuel Operator

Job Description

The Fuel Operator supports the safe receipt, storage, handling and delivery of fuel for UGL operations, plant or industrial facilities. Requirements generally include relevant fuel-handling, logistics, plant-operation or heavy-industry experience, a current driver's licence, strong safety awareness and the ability to follow procedures. Depending on the site, forklift, dangerous-goods, fuel-handling or other high-risk work licences may be required. The successful candidate is expected to conduct inspections, maintain accurate records, operate equipment responsibly, report hazards, manage spills or incidents appropriately and work effectively within a rostered team. Physical fitness, reliability, clear communication and a commitment to UGL's health, safety, environmental and quality standards are important.
