Electrician

Job Description

UGL Electricians install, maintain, test and repair electrical systems and equipment across infrastructure, energy, rail, resources or industrial projects. Candidates generally need a recognised Australian electrical trade qualification, a current unrestricted electrical licence, relevant site experience and a strong understanding of Australian electrical standards, workplace safety and isolation procedures. Construction Industry White Card, a valid driver’s licence and the ability to pass medical, drug and alcohol screening may be required. The role can involve shift work, travel, remote or project-based assignments and physically demanding conditions. UGL expects reliable, safety-focused tradespeople who can read drawings, troubleshoot effectively, complete accurate documentation and work cooperatively with supervisors, engineers and other trades.
