Job Description

UGL is seeking a Mechanical Fitter in Australia to install, maintain, inspect and repair mechanical equipment and industrial assets. Applicants generally need a recognised mechanical trade qualification, relevant Australian or equivalent experience, and the ability to read technical drawings and use mechanical tools safely. Experience with rotating equipment, conveyors, pumps, hydraulics or heavy industrial machinery is valuable. Candidates must follow safety, quality and environmental procedures, complete maintenance records, and work effectively within a team. The role may involve shutdown work, remote sites, shift work, overtime or rostered arrangements. A current driver's licence, medical assessment and relevant site inductions or tickets may also be required.
