Job Description

UGL is seeking a qualified Boilermaker in Australia to fabricate, weld, repair and maintain structural steel, piping, plant and heavy industrial equipment. Candidates generally need a relevant Australian trade certificate, proven experience in heavy industry, mining, energy or infrastructure, and practical skills in MIG, TIG or MMA welding, fabrication and interpreting technical drawings. Current safety tickets, medical clearance, drug and alcohol screening, and a strong commitment to workplace health and safety may be required. The successful candidate is expected to work reliably as part of a team, maintain high workmanship standards, follow permits and procedures, and be flexible with rosters, overtime, shutdowns or remote-site conditions.
