The Fuel Operator is responsible for safely operating fuel trucks, refuelling plant and vehicles, monitoring fuel levels, completing daily records, and following site procedures. The role typically requires a current Australian driver's licence, suitable heavy-vehicle or fuel-tanker licence where applicable, relevant operating experience, and the ability to pass medical, drug and alcohol screening. Dangerous-goods or fuel-handling certification may be required. UGL expects candidates to work reliably in remote or project-based environments, follow health, safety and environmental rules, maintain equipment, communicate effectively with supervisors and crews, and complete accurate documentation. Experience in mining, rail, infrastructure, logistics or heavy industry is advantageous.
