The Night Nurse (RGN) is responsible for delivering safe, person-centred care to residents throughout overnight shifts. Requirements typically include current NMC registration as an Adult Nurse (RGN), sound clinical knowledge, experience assessing and monitoring patients, administering medicines, maintaining accurate records, and responding appropriately to changing health needs. Experience in older-person care, dementia care, or a nursing-home setting is beneficial.
