Company Info

The company recruits and places healthcare professionals and support workers in temporary, casual, contract and permanent positions across Australia. Its services include workforce supply, recruitment, training and professional support for a range of clinical and community-care roles. For disability support workers, Healthcare Australia may provide access to flexible shifts, local assignments and opportunities with organisations delivering NDIS and community services. Destination Guide

Australia offers disability-support and broader healthcare opportunities in cities, regional centres and remote communities, with demand often strongest for qualified and experienced workers. The Illawarra, including Wollongong, combines coastal living with access to Sydney, beaches, national parks and a relaxed community atmosphere. Australian workplaces generally value punctuality, direct communication, inclusion and respect for individual choice. Lifestyle costs vary considerably; rent and transport are usually higher near major cities, while regional areas may be more affordable. Overseas applicants should check whether their occupation and qualifications fit an eligible visa pathway, such as employer sponsorship or a skilled or regional visa. A valid work right, health checks, police clearances and relevant NDIS or state screening may be required. Qualifications may need Australian recognition, and a driver’s licence is often important for community-based support work.
