Job Description

The Global Program Safety Lead – CRM supports the overall safety strategy for Novartis medicines in the Cardiovascular, Renal and Metabolic portfolio. Requirements typically include a degree in medicine, pharmacy, life sciences or a related discipline, substantial experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety, and a strong understanding of global safety regulations, signal management and benefit–risk assessment. The successful candidate is expected to provide strategic safety leadership across clinical development and post-marketing activities, interpret complex safety data, contribute to risk-management plans and regulatory submissions, and work effectively with clinical, regulatory, epidemiology and commercial teams. Strong scientific writing, communication, decision-making and stakeholder-management skills are essential, together with the ability to operate independently in a global, matrix organisation.
