Company Info

Metrobank, formally Metropolitan Bank & Trust Company, is one of the Philippines’ largest universal banks. Established in 1962, it serves individuals, businesses, institutions, and government-related clients through a broad network of branches and digital banking channels. Its services include deposits, consumer loans, credit cards, corporate and commercial banking, treasury, investment banking, and wealth management. Metrobank is known for its established presence in the Philippine financial sector and its focus on dependable banking services, customer relationships, and digital modernization. A branch CSR–Teller supports the bank’s frontline operations and helps customers complete everyday financial transactions while representing Metrobank’s service standards.

Destination Guide

The Philippines offers banking, shared-services, technology, retail, tourism, healthcare, and education opportunities, with the greatest concentration in Metro Manila, Cebu, and Davao. Manila and nearby Makati provide extensive career options but have heavy traffic and higher living costs. Cebu offers a strong business-process and tourism sector, while other islands provide a slower pace and lower expenses, though professional opportunities may be fewer. Filipino culture is generally warm, family-oriented, English-friendly, and community-minded. Lifestyle ranges from urban dining and shopping to beaches, diving, hiking, and island travel. Foreign workers usually need an employer-sponsored work permit and an appropriate employment visa, commonly a 9(g) visa; requirements vary by nationality and role. Tourist or visa-free entry does not authorize employment. Research housing, transport, healthcare, taxes, and local regulations before relocating.
