Job Description

This role leads fraud-prevention planning and risk-management initiatives within Rakuten Mobile’s Anti-Fraud Department, reporting directly to the COO. Responsibilities may include identifying fraud threats, developing policies and controls, monitoring suspicious activity, analyzing risks, improving customer and business safeguards, and coordinating with technology, finance, legal, customer service, and external partners. Candidates are expected to have experience in fraud prevention, compliance, risk management, business planning, telecommunications, payments, or a related field. Strong analytical, problem-solving, project-management, and communication skills are important. The ability to work independently, influence senior stakeholders, and operate effectively in a fast-changing international environment is likely required. Japanese proficiency is highly valuable, while English may be useful for cross-border collaboration.
