Job Description

The Senior Quality Engineer is responsible for improving quality systems, investigating defects, managing root-cause and corrective-action processes, and supporting compliance across Qantas engineering or operational activities. Requirements typically include a relevant engineering or technical qualification, substantial quality-assurance experience, knowledge of aviation regulations and safety management, and familiarity with tools such as risk analysis, auditing and continuous-improvement methods. The successful candidate is expected to work analytically, communicate clearly with technical and operational teams, manage competing priorities, and promote a strong safety and quality culture. Experience in aviation, maintenance, manufacturing or another highly regulated industry is advantageous.
