Junior Associate - Taxation

Job Description

The Junior Associate – Taxation role typically supports tax compliance, preparation of tax computations and returns, statutory reporting, reconciliations, documentation, and responses to tax-related queries. Candidates are generally expected to hold a degree or professional qualification in accounting, finance, taxation, or a related field, with a sound understanding of Sri Lankan tax regulations. Part-qualified CIMA, ACCA, CA, or similar candidates may be preferred. Strong analytical, numerical, organisational, and communication skills are important, along with proficiency in Excel and accounting systems. The successful candidate is expected to work accurately under deadlines, maintain confidentiality, keep up with regulatory changes, and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external advisers.
