Senior Technician (Contract)

Job Description

The Senior Technician (Contract) is expected to carry out technical installation, testing, inspection, troubleshooting, servicing and repair work, while following engineering drawings, work instructions and safety procedures. Candidates should have relevant technical qualifications, such as an Nitec, Higher Nitec or diploma in engineering, electronics, mechanical engineering or a related discipline. Practical experience in equipment maintenance, assembly, systems integration or defence-related products is useful. The role requires sound technical knowledge, good problem-solving ability, attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Candidates should be physically fit, safety-conscious, adaptable to shift or site-based work where required, and willing to complete documentation accurately and meet project deadlines.
