Job Description

The Support Worker assists people with disabilities, older adults, or health-related needs to live safely and independently in their homes and communities. Typical duties include personal care, meal preparation, household support, medication prompts, transport, companionship, and encouraging participation in daily activities. Applicants should be caring, reliable, patient, and respectful, with good communication skills and the ability to work independently. A full or restricted New Zealand driver licence, a reliable vehicle, and the ability to pass police and reference checks may be required. Previous caregiving experience or a relevant health and wellbeing qualification is useful, although training may be provided. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, or varied shifts is expected.
