Job Description

The Maintenance Supervisor oversees daily hotel engineering and maintenance operations, ensuring guest rooms, public areas, plant equipment and building systems remain safe, functional and well presented. Candidates are generally expected to have experience in hotel, commercial building or facilities maintenance, with practical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and general building services. Relevant trade qualifications, contractor coordination experience and knowledge of workplace health and safety are advantageous. The role requires leadership, sound troubleshooting skills, accurate record keeping and the ability to respond calmly to urgent faults. The successful candidate should be customer-focused, organised, physically capable and comfortable working shifts, weekends, public holidays and on-call periods when required.
