Destination Guide

Australia offers strong opportunities in hotels, restaurants, resorts, events, tourism and related service industries, especially in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, the Gold Coast and regional destinations. Workplaces are generally multicultural, practical and relatively informal, while punctuality, workplace safety, equal treatment and clear communication are valued. Lifestyle options range from busy city living and beaches to outdoor activities, national parks and a relaxed café culture. Living costs, particularly rent, can be high in Sydney. Eligible applicants may use a Working Holiday visa, while employer-sponsored, skilled and student pathways may suit qualified candidates; visa conditions and work rights should be checked with the Department of Home Affairs. Relocation usually requires a valid visa, tax file number, bank account, accommodation and health cover. Event and hotel roles may involve shift work, weekends and seasonal demand.
