Destination Guide

Indonesia offers hospitality opportunities across Bali, Java, Lombok, Flores, the Gili Islands, Batam, and other resort destinations. Labuan Bajo is a growing tourism hub known for Komodo National Park, coastal scenery, diving, and a relaxed island lifestyle. Indonesian culture values warmth, respect for elders, community, modesty, and harmony; learning basic Bahasa Indonesia is highly useful. Daily life can be slower and more outdoors-focused than in major cities, though Labuan Bajo has expanding restaurants, shops, and transport links. Foreign employees generally need an employer-sponsored work permit and an appropriate limited-stay visa, commonly arranged through the company before employment begins. Do not work on a tourist visa. Relocation planning should include housing, health insurance, banking, flights, and medical access. Resort packages may provide staff accommodation, meals, transport, and service charge, but candidates should confirm all terms in writing.
