Job Description

The Maintenance Lead is responsible for overseeing the safe, effective and well-maintained condition of an Elysium Healthcare site. Duties typically include coordinating planned and reactive maintenance, supervising contractors, completing inspections, maintaining records, responding to faults and supporting compliance with health and safety, fire, electrical, water and building regulations. Candidates are expected to have practical maintenance or estates experience, ideally in a healthcare, residential or similarly regulated environment. Good knowledge of building services, risk assessment and statutory compliance is valuable. The role requires strong organisation, communication and problem-solving skills, the ability to prioritise urgent work, and a dependable, hands-on approach. Relevant trade qualifications and experience managing contractors or maintenance teams may be advantageous.
