Its workforce covers flight operations, engineering, airport services, commercial functions, technology, finance and corporate support. Destination Guide

Singapore is a compact, highly connected island city-state with opportunities in aviation, logistics, finance, technology, hospitality, healthcare and international business. Its multicultural society blends Chinese, Malay, Indian and global influences, reflected in its food, festivals and neighbourhoods. The lifestyle is safe, efficient and urban, with excellent public transport, reliable healthcare, modern shopping areas and many parks. Housing can be expensive, especially in central districts, so newcomers often compare shared apartments, condominiums and public housing room rentals. Foreign professionals usually need an employer-sponsored Employment Pass or S Pass; eligibility depends on salary, qualifications, experience and prevailing government criteria. Employers normally handle the application. Singapore’s warm, humid climate and high living costs are worth planning for, but the island’s convenience, international community and proximity to Southeast Asia make it attractive for relocation.
