Job Description

This role supports Rakuten’s information security governance and enablement activities across the organization. Responsibilities typically include developing and maintaining security policies, standards, procedures and control frameworks; coordinating risk assessments, audits and compliance initiatives; monitoring governance effectiveness; preparing reports; and promoting security awareness among business and technical teams. Candidates are expected to have experience in information security governance, risk management, compliance, internal controls or audit, together with knowledge of frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST or CIS. Strong communication, documentation, stakeholder-management and English skills are important, as the role works across international teams. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC or ISO 27001 training would be advantageous.
