Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but it offers coastal city living, beaches, desert experiences, and strong hospitality opportunities, particularly in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah, and Sharjah. Jobs are available in hotels, resorts, restaurants, tourism, aviation, retail, finance, technology, and construction. The culture blends Emirati traditions with a large international community; modest dress and respect for local customs are appreciated. Lifestyle options range from modern shopping and dining to water sports, cultural attractions, and outdoor desert activities. Employers generally sponsor work visas, residence permits, medical checks, and identification for approved employees. Relocation packages may include accommodation, transport, flights, insurance, and schooling support, depending on seniority. Costs are highest in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, while tax-free salaries can be attractive.
