The United Arab Emirates is a modern Gulf destination with strong opportunities in hotels, tourism, construction, facilities management, retail and aviation, especially in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Although not an island, Dubai includes the man-made Palm Jumeirah, where this resort is located. The culture combines Islamic traditions with a highly international lifestyle; modest dress in public places, respect for local customs and awareness during Ramadan are important. Dubai offers beaches, shopping, dining, entertainment and excellent transport, but accommodation and daily expenses can be high. Most overseas employees need employer-sponsored residence and work visas; the employer normally arranges medical testing, Emirates ID and permits. Many hospitality packages include shared accommodation, transport, meals or allowances and medical cover. Candidates should verify contract terms, recruitment fees, working hours and benefits before relocating.
