Job Description

The Kitchen Hand supports the Tesoro Restaurant kitchen team with food preparation, washing dishes, cleaning equipment, disposing of waste and maintaining hygienic work areas. Applicants should be physically fit, reliable and comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Previous kitchen, catering or hospitality experience is helpful but may not be essential. The successful candidate is expected to follow food-safety and workplace-health procedures, assist chefs and stewarding staff, maintain high cleanliness standards, work cooperatively and remain flexible with shifts, including weekends, evenings and public holidays. Good communication, punctuality and a positive attitude are important. Part-time availability and the legal right to work in Australia are required.
