The Marketing Executive supports SLS Barcelona’s marketing strategy across digital campaigns, social media, content, partnerships, public relations and promotional activities. Candidates should have experience in hotel, luxury, lifestyle or consumer marketing, strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent organisation and attention to detail. Familiarity with social media platforms, email marketing, content creation and campaign reporting is expected. Fluency in English is generally essential; Spanish and other European languages are valuable. The successful candidate should be creative, commercially aware, comfortable working with multiple departments and able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment.
SLS Barcelona is a luxury lifestyle hotel located in the Barcelona area and part of Ennismore, Accor’s collection of distinctive, design-led hospitality brands. SLS properties combine stylish accommodation with destination restaurants, bars, entertainment and social experiences. The brand is known for a playful, contemporary identity, high-energy service and strong emphasis on design, food, nightlife and memorable guest experiences. SLS Barcelona attracts leisure travellers, international visitors, local residents and event guests seeking an upscale but vibrant setting. As part of Accor, the hotel benefits from the resources, training opportunities and international career mobility of one of the world’s largest hospitality groups, while maintaining the creative character associated with the SLS brand.
Spain’s main island employment markets are the Balearic Islands, including Mallorca, Ibiza and Menorca, and the Canary Islands, including Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura. Opportunities are strongest in hotels, restaurants, tourism, events, wellness, retail, aviation and seasonal entertainment. Island life offers warm weather, beaches, outdoor activities and a relaxed social culture, although summer housing can be expensive and highly competitive. Spanish is useful for daily life and many local roles, while English and other languages are valuable in international hospitality. EU, EEA and Swiss citizens can work with registration requirements. Non-EU nationals normally need an employer-sponsored work permit or another valid residence route before employment. Research accommodation, transport, healthcare, tax registration and seasonal contract conditions carefully before relocating. Barcelona, where this SLS role is based, is on mainland Spain rather than an island.
