Job Description

The Commis 1 – Pastry supports the pastry chef and kitchen team in preparing cakes, desserts, breads, pastries and other sweet items according to hotel standards. Candidates should have basic pastry or culinary training, practical kitchen experience, knowledge of food preparation and hygiene procedures, and the ability to follow recipes accurately. The role requires good organization, attention to detail, teamwork and willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays. The successful candidate is expected to maintain a clean workstation, handle equipment safely, control ingredients, minimize waste and consistently meet quality and presentation standards in a busy luxury-hotel environment.
