Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island but a Gulf country made up of seven emirates, with Abu Dhabi as its capital. It offers strong employment opportunities in hospitality, tourism, retail, aviation, construction, healthcare, finance, and technology. The culture blends Islamic traditions, Emirati heritage, and a large international community. Abu Dhabi is modern, safe, clean, and generally more relaxed than Dubai, although living costs can be high. Summers are extremely hot, while winters are pleasant and popular for outdoor activities. Most foreign employees need employer-sponsored residence and work visas; companies commonly arrange medical checks, Emirates ID processing, and permits after hiring. Relocation packages may include accommodation, transport, meals, flights, and health insurance, particularly in resort jobs. Employees should respect local dress codes, religious customs, public behaviour rules, and laws concerning alcohol and photography.
