Destination Guide

Qetaifan Island North is a modern waterfront destination in Lusail, north of Doha, connected to Qatar's growing tourism and hospitality sector. Job opportunities are strongest in hotels, restaurants, catering, events, retail, entertainment, engineering, and guest services, with additional vacancies across Doha. Qatar's culture blends Islamic traditions with an international expatriate community; modest dress, respectful behavior, and awareness of local customs are important. The lifestyle offers beaches, malls, dining, museums, desert trips, and major sporting and cultural events, although summers are extremely hot. Employers normally sponsor work visas, arrange medical checks and residence permits, and may provide accommodation, transport, meals, health insurance, and flights. Candidates should confirm the full package, probation terms, working hours, and contract before relocating. Doha is generally safe, but living costs and accommodation arrangements should be reviewed carefully.
