Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not one island but a federation of seven emirates, with Abu Dhabi offering strong opportunities in luxury hotels, tourism, aviation, retail, healthcare, construction, finance, and technology. Saadiyat Island is known for beaches, museums, resorts, and a relaxed upscale lifestyle, while central Abu Dhabi provides shopping, dining, parks, and city services. The culture is welcoming and multicultural, but visitors and residents should respect Islamic traditions, local dress expectations, and laws concerning public behavior. The climate is sunny and very hot for much of the year, so air-conditioned workplaces and transport are important. Employers commonly arrange an employment visa, medical testing, Emirates ID processing, and sometimes accommodation or transport. Candidates should confirm contract terms, benefits, probation rules, and recruitment costs before relocating. English is widely used, while Arabic is an advantage.
