Destination Guide

Al Marjan Island is a growing resort destination in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, known for beaches, hotels, water activities and a relaxed coastal lifestyle. Hospitality provides many opportunities, including reservations, front office, food and beverage, housekeeping, engineering, wellness and events. The culture is multicultural and respectful, with Islamic traditions shaping public behaviour, dress and holiday periods. Daily life is generally quieter than Dubai, while shopping, restaurants and entertainment are available in nearby Ras Al Khaimah. Summers are very hot, so air-conditioned facilities and transport are important. Foreign employees normally need employer sponsorship, a UAE entry permit, medical examination, Emirates ID and residence visa; employers commonly arrange these formalities. Resorts may provide accommodation, meals, transport, health insurance and flights or allowances, but terms should be confirmed in writing. Bring certified qualifications and allow time for document checks. A valid passport and clean employment record are essential.
