The Bellman welcomes guests, assists with luggage, escorts them to rooms, explains hotel facilities, and supports arrivals and departures. The role also includes arranging transportation, responding to guest requests, maintaining the lobby area, and coordinating with Front Office, Housekeeping, and other departments. Candidates should have good communication and customer-service skills, a pleasant and professional manner, physical ability to handle luggage, and flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Previous hotel or guest-service experience is helpful, while knowledge of English and Malay is advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to be attentive, well-groomed, dependable, and committed to creating a warm Mercure guest experience.
