Public Area Attendant

Job Description

The Public Area Attendant keeps guest-facing areas clean, presentable and safe, including lobbies, corridors, lifts, public bathrooms and other hotel facilities. Duties may include vacuuming, mopping, dusting, replenishing supplies, removing waste, cleaning glass and reporting maintenance or safety issues. The role generally requires good physical fitness, attention to detail, reliable time management and the ability to work independently or as part of a housekeeping team. Candidates should provide friendly service, follow hygiene and workplace safety procedures, maintain professional standards and be available for early mornings, evenings, weekends or public holidays. Previous hotel or cleaning experience is helpful, although training may be provided.
